When Fragrance Meets Art

The inspiration behind our handcrafted packaging

When I first began imagining the launch of the first three Jolin et Myrtille fragrances, I knew the story couldn’t stop at the scent itself. I wanted every detail to speak the same language: one of delicacy, poetry, and the quiet emotion that comes with creating something with care.

For me, packaging has never been just a container, but a first gentle touch — an invitation into a world of sensations. I was looking for something authentic, handmade, capable of telling the same story that lives within each fragrance.

That was the moment I discovered the illustrations of Lucia de Marco. I immediately fell in love with the lightness of her lines, her soft hues, and the sensitivity that shines through every drawing. In her work, I recognized the soul of Jolin et Myrtille: the joy of small moments, natural elegance, and the beauty found in details.

From this meeting, a spontaneous collaboration was born, guided by shared affinities and a mutual passion for things made by hand and by heart. Lucia created the handcrafted packaging for our three fragrances, treating each box as a one-of-a-kind piece.

Every package is conceived as a small keepsake, holding a story within. Papers, textures, and colors were carefully chosen to evoke feelings of light, calm, and refined simplicity. Nothing is left to chance; every element contributes to an experience that begins even before the fragrance is revealed.

The transparent bottle allows the purity of the scent to shine through, while the packaging adds a tactile and visual dimension that completes the gesture. It is a quiet dialogue between art, craftsmanship, and perfume, where every detail finds its balance.

With these creations, each fragrance becomes not only something to wear, but also something to admire and cherish — a small tribute to authentic beauty, to what is made slowly, with care and intention.
